I took apart my car and can't put it back. Help!?

Question:
I just switched out the cluth on my friend's 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse, and I'm just about done... It's just that... I have around 15 bolts lying around, and I'm not even sure what this one other thing does. Any ideas?

Car won't turn on unless jumped, battery and alternator tested fine at Sears, 03 Taurus. What is the problem?

got to your local library and see if they have a service manual it would be in the reference section ...if so copy pages you need and go fix the car..if not then buy a book

Tires rotation, how I should I do it in X ??

Well, hold it right there. Selling a car in parts is far more lucrative than selling the whole thing - and then you'd have enough money to buy the same car again, plus some extra bucks to spare.
How about that?

Replace gas tank 1985 chevy truck?

Taking on a repair at that depth is a noble act.But not if you do not know what you are doing.Anyone can take something apart, but putting it back together is another.Put all the bolts in a can and take it to a transmission repair garage.

Breaking in rebuilt engine?

I agree with both Red and Calired6 on this. You seem to have mechanical aptitude but you are missing guidance. You should have at least the basic knowledge when starting this type of project. Go to the library and refrence the information you need then start the project. or if you are planning to own the vehicle for some time go buy a "Chilton" or "Haynes" manual for the vehicle then you have something to refrence at home for your future projects. Reading in advance will keep you out of situations like this one. Because then you can see if the project is too big to try to tackle at home. Good Luck

Changed brake pads in front of my 1997 Ford taurus SHO and now the brake pedal goes all the way down?

I always have people come to me to fix there cars they tried to fix themselfs. I can fix it. I will tell you how. Go down to your local junkyard and find your same car your working on, if it is still intacked. Take a note book and a good camara. Doing this is better than any repair book. You will find where those extra bolts go. Good Luck.
