I have an Explorer (Eddie Bauer is what I assume you have) that had the same problem. In the end I had to have the car's computer replaced. I would NOT have the dealer do this. I would take it to a mechanic that can find you a used Ford SUV computer so that you can save $$$. The dealer will charge you over $1000.
