Golf mk3 gti 16v flashing light?

The water coolant light keeps flashing, but the car is not loosing any water or overheating,it gets up to normal temperature and stays there as normal, any ideas on what it could be causing it. cheers

top of the rad on the right,, plug with a 3 pin connection on it, called the temp sensor, replace this temp sensor and it will be fine
