Question:
my friend has an impact wrench but it seems to take a while instead of just zipping bolts off in a second like I've seen before. I want a tool that is going to make my job as quick as possible. thanks.

That really depends how much you want to spend, Sears has a good 1/2" drive impact that will do fine around $60.00 or so. The other option is a Snap-on 1/2" impact with dual hammers around $300.00 to $400.00. Your choice!
what are the first things that i need to install to my car befor i start racing on it?
What you have to know about impact wrenches is that they only go as fast as the amount of air you put through them. Your friend has a good idea by not putting too much air pressure through his gun. If you ask him he'll probably tell you. The reason for this is so the wheel and lugs don't get damaged. It's really easy to damage the wheel, warped rotor cracked aluminum rim galled or stripped threads etc. if you use too much force. As for wich one, Chicago Pneumatics makes a good, sturdy model that'll last you for years. It's middle of the line, about 75 bucks or so.
