by taking the thermostat out of an 94 sentra can it affect the way the trannsmission shifts?

The thermostat has nothing to do with the transmission shifting.

will a 70 to 73 firebird nose fit a 77 firebird with out adding a whole front end clip?

It will never reach operating temperatures, and never send the right signals to the computer, and yes, it can affect the shift points. Get a thermostat back in.

Peugeot 307 Side light bulb change ?

I had minor car accident and caused a small 10/12 cm ding to other vehicle. No paint came off.?

Well it could... It makes the enguine run to cool causing the E.C.U. to run the enguine on fast idle & posibly change the shift point of the transmission. And it will get rotten gas milage. And you can get a new one at Autozone for about $7 + tax.

Price Shopping?

Of course it will affect the way the transmission shifts. Also drivability. With the "computer and the sensors" in todays cars. Without a themostant. The engine will never reach the normal operating temp. Then mess up all the systems and no heat if you live in a cooler climate

My alternator went out.?

Well it might..... your transmission cooler is mounted behind your radiator and since you took out the thermostat your eninge will run cooler..... so will your transmission.... but I really doubt the heat will have an affect..... mostly the trans shifts due to hydrolic pressure, when it vuilds up, and you have a pressure regulator in there as well.

Who will win an eighth mile? Hyundai Sonata 4 CYL or Honda Civic Stock?

It can. The transmission will run cold. And a whole lot of other stuff won't work right. There is never a good reason to remove a thermostat. It won't keep your engine from running hot.

Is "green fuel" the answer for high price oil?

I would not think a cool engine would affect the tranny. If that were the case it would be cold when you first drove it in the morning and would have shifted rough. Why you not get new thermo. and put it in when old one out ?? Why you change it anyway ??

Is a MAACO paint job really that bad? Looking for an affordible paint job.?

Every late model car with a computer is set up to run a certain way. The computer operation depends on many things, like engine temp, engine speed, a/c on or off, power steering developing power to turn, foot on the brake, trans in gear and hosts of other things. Change one item and it will not work right. The radio may even quit playing. To be sure, replace the thermostat and when the engine gets warmed up properly see if the problem is fixed. Be sure to put in the same temp thermostat also.
Check the trans fluid and make sure it is filled to proper level. If the problem persists, change your fluid and filter and have the bands adjusted.
