Oilless vs oil compressor for home use?

Question:
I received a 1hp 3gallon compressor for christmas and spouse not knowing much about them either got the kind you must add oil too and not shipped with oil and you must buy special non-detergent oil to fill before use and my only need for it is to be able to check and fill car tires at home. Still brand new, do I really need this type of compressor for my simple needs?

Can somebody tell me where to find the VSS wire for a 2006 F150?

no, oil less are much easier to maintain depending on the duty cycle (100% operation) you are after .

what do i need to no about using 2pack painting equipment in a work invroment?

I have a Sears 5 horse, 30 gal oil less in my garage, and use it almost every weekend for the last 5 years with no trouble

Is 32 psi acceptable for a custom tire with a maximum psi of 44?

no ...but if u have it u might as well use it .. .. how much is oil a couple of bucks ... oil-type compressors are generally higher quality and last forever ... the newer oiless small units are ok for tire filling and small stuff ... large 5+HP oiless units are generally good for painting autos coz it reduces the risk of oil getting in the paint .... i would keep what u have there, sounds like a good one ... and good tools are nice to have ...
