how to i time the motor in my civic?
Yes, it can (assuming both engines are 2.0 liter Single Overhead Camshafts). Your best bet is to use a Chrysler "Head-gasket" set, which will contain a new "Multi-layered Steel" head-gasket that is far superior to the original composite (paper) gasket. It will also include all the required seals you need to stop any upper engine oil leaks. You'll also need a can of Mopar Gasket Spray to help the head-gasket seal better. and also a camshaft seal retainer (this was a technical service bulletin), your local Chrysler dealer should know about this. The parts are a little bit more expensive, but much better quality. Also, you'll need to check the cylinder head for corrosion, these heads had a tendency to corrode around the water ports if the coolant was not changed per service schedules. If in doubt, take the head to a machine shop and have it checked (which is a good idea anyways, to check for warpage). About .004" can be planned off the head and still be usable.do an engine get hot from normal driving?
call a local auto parts house they will tell you for free but you will need to know engine sizeany recommendation for changing the transmission fluid on a volvo in smyrna ga?
No, the head bolts will not line up the same as the '95No. The engines are too different. Call a mechaninc to verify, but as I remember, it isn't that simple. Cheers.
