If you put a turbo on a standard engine, would it wear out sooner than it should?

Question:

Answers:

I need a Transmission?

It depends how hard you ride it.
If you stay relatively low in your RPM's the turbo wont have time to spin p\up and will never be used.
On the other hand, if you are constantly riding your RPM's very high the turbo will be used more often and can accelerate the wear on your engine. In addition, shutting the engine down right after stopping will cause it to cool down too fast and also shorten the life expectancy. Installing a contrller to keep the motor running for a couple of minutes after you turn th key off and get out will counter that.

What do the letters at the end of the model of a car stand for?

I am sure there are other ways to wreck a turbo charged engine that others here can elaborate on though.

suggestions?? 2003 ford escape cruise control problem?

It really depends on the boost. I mean if installed a bolt on turbo kit with just mild boost like 0.4 psi, it wont wear out the engine as much. however, since its a turbo engine now, i bet you will be revving the engine even more. this will wear it out even more.
