1993 chevy suburban, cuts off a few seconds after a stop.?

Question:
I had a tune up on thursday. They however did not change the oil. They told me to use a feul injector cleaner on a full tank of gas. I put in 22 gallons and the F I cleaner. The needle on the rpm started bouncing up and down with a mild flucuation in the reving idle. I was not touching the gas. Soon after that, it starts to sound like it wants to cut off, then it does. It starts back up, no problem. No smoke is smelled or seen. What could be wrong now?

Will replacing the air filter on my 306 d turbo with a pair of tights over inlet manifold help preformance?

i think the fuel additive loosened up a piece of carbon, and it got stuck in the egr valve. this causes a vacuum leak. these engines build up a lot of carbon and if you dont use a fuel system cleaner regularly, then use some, there is going to be small pieces being cleaned from the engine, and may get stuck in the valve. remove the egr valve and inspect it for debris.

My car starts but i have to keep my foot on the gas pedal to keep it running?? help..?

Check all the vacuum lines. A good indication of a vacuum leak is a whistle or a sucking noise under the hood. When you find it, replace the hose and it should be fine.

Air Flow for a Diesel Engine?

maybe the cleaner u put in your gas clogged up the fuel filter since it cleaned ur gas lines and tank id try that should only cost about 5 bucks for a new filter

What tyre size on a MINI ONE emergency wheel?

you may have a partially clogged fuel filter or fuel pump "sock". Id almost bet 5$ (which is probably what the filter costs LOL) that your fuel filter has never been changed. when you stop, whatever crud in the filter surges forward and cuts off fuel flow. then gravity pulls it back down while your wondering what the f#@k is happening. although the filter is cheap, and you can buy it at walmart, most likely, I would have a shop change it. that way if a fuel line happens to break, they have to fix it. probably 30 - 60 minutes labor, depending on if they have probs or not. also, in my state (MI) you are entitled to keep any parts removed from your vehicle (unless it is a core exchange, and the shop supplied it, in which case you are entitled to inspect it) check into that. good luck, and I hope I was right :-)
