I think that over time, the sugar will burn due to the high heat andsieze up your engine. Might be a good idea to drain the gas and
then flush it with another half tank of gas.
well the thing thing it would do is piss u off, but other then that it can stop up ur fuel lines, ur fuel filter, ur fuel pump,, Ur fuel injectors, and get in to ur motor. so u will have to replace ur lines, filter, pump, and, possibly ur injectors. if it got into the motor u will have to get a mechanic to clean it out to insure u got it all. so i would find out who done it and send them the bill.

tell them not to crank the car to allow the sugar,gas mixture to get into the fuel lines and fuel jets or carburetor. they need to remove the gas tank and completely remove,empty anything that's inside. replace it and refill with clean gas and let the car run for a few minutes or drive it a couple of miles to burn out the contaminated fuel that is caught up in the gas lines. you should be OK if you do this.How can I get my windshield washer pump to start working again on my 2001 Ford Taurus SE??
First, sugar is like sand. What kind car????? The stuff can get into the fuel injectors, fuel filter, etc.. If there is any water in the tank, most have some, even a fem drops will turn the sugar into mud. Not good. The cost of removing the tank and pump is expensive. To flush the tank with water, drying the tank and pump, flushing the lines, injectors, etc. is time consuming..This not a joke..If you know who did it you should make him pay the damn bill. The alternate is to take the jerk to SMALL CLAIMS COURT.. $500 to $600The only damage it might do is plug up the filter. It's urban legend that sugar will completely ruin engines.

you need to have the entire fuel system flushed out the sugar will cause the gas the turn into a gum like substance that will clog up your fuel lines and your injectors which will cost you hundreds in re pars and also if your injectors are messed up than that will cost you almost a thousand to have then replaced they cost like two hundred each and maybe more depending on what car you have.

chances are it wont even do anything,but it depends on how much sugar was dumped in it. there is a couple different things he can do. 1. fill it up and take his chances.2.if hes got a buddy or someone that knos someone with an electric fuel pump (you can buy at any auto parts store but not cheap) he could put 5 or 6 gallons of gas in it and suck it back out but you`ll need tojump up an down on the rear bumper so the sugar with mix in the gas or it will just settle on the bottom of the tank. 3. drop the tank pour out what fuel is in it , put a couple gallons of water it shake it around pour it out do this a couple time then put a couple gallons of gas in it shake it real good pour it out put the tank back into the car gas it up and goMore Questions & Answers ...
