Can I use dehumidifier water to fill car batteries?
Bugger. This sort of fault is difficult to diagnose remotely, but I would suggest getting it to someone who has computer diagnstics available, maybe Toyota. It could be your ignitor, these have a habit of causing loss of spark. However, if it was the ignitor, the engine shutdown would be more random.Otherwise, the most likely cause is a fuel feed issue somewhere, especially if its always after a few seconds of running. Check fuel filter, pump, lines, etc. Best of luck, Celicas are pretty bulletproof, it will pull thru OK!so it actually turns over and starts for those few seconds? it's not just the cranking of the starter you hear and think it's starting? first turn off the radio and actually listen to the engine. sound may give you a good clue as to what's going on. Check other stuff like the fuel lines, water in your fuel, fuel filter, fuel pump.
fuel pump, fuel pump relay, gotta start somewheres, maybe afuel filter or water that froze in the fuel line
where can i find a spare parts dealer in the north west for my dethleffs caravan ?
It could be the electrical part of the ign switch.Try holding the key in different positions after it starts, but don't let the starter keep running.how do i take off my 98 ford rangers door panel?
If the fuel filter hasen't been changed receintly, do so. If that does not solve the problem, check fuel pressure and volume. Spark plugs and oil change are absolutly irrevelant..You didn't say what the temp was..If it is real cold and the computer isn't getting the signal that could also be a problem. If the computer temp sensor is bad or a bad connection would cause it to stall on a cold day..Do the filter first, next pull the temp snesor and see if it corroded. Clean and reinstall..The coolant sensor for the computer is a TWO WIRE PLUG near the thermostat. There are 2 the one with one wire is for the gauge/light. You want the one with TWO WIRES.I have a suspicion that it is the filter.Trac off light is on in a car i am getting ready to buy! Its a 99 Grand Am? whats the light mean?
