Question:
A blue spark emits when i turn the light on and a new fuse is in it blows the fuse right away i want to know if its a short in the fuse terminal or the wiring in the steering wheel. It was working when i started the car and just noticed it driving only about a mile down the road. Also why would the short happen ive done nothing new to the car and i tried every fuse i had that was 15 amp and blew all of them

i got HID lights for my 2004 CTS. How to change?
possible short in the light switch or dash board what eles does that 15amp fuse control? dash lights by themselves do not require a 15amp fuse find out what else does not work.. oh yea DO NOT USE A LARGER FUSE like someelse said can make the short even worse like burning up your carI have a 97 Mitsibushi Eclipse, the front end has a roaring sound while driving down the road.?
Try a larger fuse maybe? Say 20-35.i own a repair shop, and if you have added a new radio,,or anything,,it can be wired wrong,,other wise,,what will cause this is any wire that has to do with the dash light or the park light can cause it to blow,,its also the fuse for the park light on it,,one of the wires in the taillight can be shorted out,,or touching to ground,,you may have a hard time finding this one,,they can be tricky sometimes,,i have looked for hours,,and when i found it,,only took 5 minutes to repair it,,wiring is a hard job,but if you,ll take your time with it,,you can do it,,good luck, hope this help,s.have a good x-mas.
if i have a go phone what is the # for to refill the mins.?
If the fuse keeps blowing, you have a short somewhere in that system. Resist the urge to put in a bigger fuse (although that would solve your problem after the car caught fire you wouldn't have to worry about it any longer).91 corolla Toyota, runs rough?
Take a test light and wire it across the fuse terminal. It will light up because there is a short. Now trace the circuit and disconnect each component, one at the time. When the light goes out, that is the component that is shorted. It can be difficult to find at best. In my case I had a bare wire for the backup lights that occasionally touched the frame. If it happened to touch WHILE I was in reverse, the fuse would blow. Took forever to find that one, and only found it because I noticed both back up lights and turn signals were on the same fuse. You might prefer to have your mechanic do the checking.
are camber kits only for the front?
It sounds like a short. Don't put a larger fuse in, it is smoking already. Shorts can be hard to find but not always. As for why this happened all of the sudden,This could be a delayed reaction from previous repairs or installation of aftermarket products or even just a switch that has worn out. Good luck.More Questions & Answers ...
