Question:
i already brought it to the garage 2 times the first time he said he replaced the thermostat . but it was stil happening and then i brought it to another garage at first he checked the thermostat and noticed that the gasket for the themostat looked old and falling apart as if the other machanic didnt change it like he said he did.so my friend replaced the thermostat. after hooked it up to a small handheld computer with the car running and he said that everything seemed fine the fan was kicken on at 217 F we replaced the coolent temp sensor also do u think there could still be air bubbles in the lines or sumthing cus when he put the radiator cap back on after bleeding it there was still bubbles comin out of the radiator. or would it be the gauge cus 2 different machanics looked at the engine, the thermostat, the tempsensor but for all i know havent looked the wir that connects to the sensor and the guage in the dash .

Should I replace intake manifold and serpentine belt in my Camry?
give it a few more days.....did you try flushing the radiatori need all information on my 1954 truck from v.i.n.# i have title?
I would begin by back flushing the radiator. This is a good way to get the air bubbles out of the radiator and lines. You can obtain a back flush kit at the auto parts store. Prestone makes a kit that is easy to install and to use. Just bleeding from the radiator cap will not eliminate the air bubbles, especially after a thermostat change where you loose a lot of fluid.Okay, after this test drive your car and you still are having these heat issues. Check again with the engine running to see if you can see small tiny bubbles. This is usually a sign that you are getting exhaust into the coolant. This may be a sign of a leaky head gasket.
Another thing I would do is change out the radiator hoses to make sure that they are not collapsing after the system is getting hot.
Peugeot 406 fuse (number 15) keeps blowing. Any ideas?
I would also check very closely for leaks, especially around the water pump.
Anyone hear rumors that Michelin tires can ruin alloy wheels?
Good luck
It's possible you may have a head gasket blown. If you keep getting bubbles in the cooling system, that's one indicator.
Overheating is another. There is a test a shop can do to see if
gasses from your cylinders is getting in your cooling system.
Another possibiliy if you're not getting good circulation either
due to clogged radiator, impellors on the waterpump wearing
down, etc. I had an olds cutlass that kept overheating and I
finally pulled the water pump off. It's impellers were wore down to a nub from corrosion.
