I have a mazda speed 6 , i dont want to fill up discount gas at all into my car?

like i said i want my car to have the best gas ever for the engine i don't care how much money it is . I just filled up Shell's V-Power today and i don't know if that is ok for my car. My manual says minimum 87 octane ? also is Chevron or Shell better

87 Octane is the minimum rating for domestic auto fuel. You can safely interchange Chevron and Shell fuels... really any fuel for that matter. Using a higher octane is advisable for high performance engines, such as a foreign sports car, or with older cars to avoid the occasional build up of carbon. A higher octane will burn cleaner, but is not to be mistaken with being better for the environment. there are fewer carbon molecules per parts per million when compared to a lower octane which undergoes less refinement.

chevron, shell or bp either one is the best brands to stay with,the main reason for this is they sell a lot of it,and keep it moving ,so your always getting fresh gas,but i use bp and most people i know either use bp or shell,those are the main company's to stay with though,good luck hope his helps.
