If both of the heater hoses feel hot to the touch where they connect to your firewall, then you probably have a problem under the dash like an air-blend door that's not working. Make sure your heater's set to high when you do the hose check above. Assuming your engine thermostat is ok and the engine's getting as hot as it should, then if the output heater hose feels cold, you know that the heater core is plugged up and needs replacing. For a 2002 year model car, that's unlikely unless your GM Dexcool coolant has gone bad. Hopefully you had it replaced by now. If not, do it ASAP because GM has had some problems with Dexcool not lasting as long as they say it will. By the time the coolant turns brown, it's too late to have prevented clogging in your coolant system, so I recommend changing it every 2 years. How do i change my turn signal fluid?
Have you tried having the radiator flushed? Your heater core might be plugged up which would not allow the hot coolant to run through for the heater. The other possibility is the heater core itself. How hard is an after market cold air intake to install on a 91 accord?
