Question:
so today i just installed an intake on my 95 honda del sol automatic. everything fits and everything is sealed. but it constantly makes a vacuum sounding noise. my friend has an intake on his car and it doesnt make that noise unless he steps on the gas. why is mine?
Answers:
It sounds pretty flirtatious ey?
pinch the back tire ;o)
How is oil squirted into the cylinders of a car engine?
Its supposed to. It means its sucking in gobs of air, and thats the point. If you find no drivability problems, then there is no issue. Now if your car runs like ***, then on the install you probably cracked the elbow on the throttle body, or disconnected a vaccum line.So if you feel no shuttering, no stalling, no jumping rpms, your good to go.
How do i change my turn signal fluid?
why are you so worried. YOu know what a intake is for right? For filtering the air while its sucked into the engine. So what does it do? It sucks like a vaccum. You friend probably has a different brand name which are all different.Do I need to warm up my engine before driving on cold mornings?
check for vacume leaks and also check if manintakefuld needs to be fixed or replaced rejusted or changed. have it reevulated by a auto mechanicMore Questions & Answers ...
