My truck is a ford f-150 with an 8 ft bed, I just had the door and fender replaced and they are different colors than the rest of the truck. I use the truck for work, so I want it to look good, but I don't need to win and beauty competitions. Thanks.

Cheap paint jobs are everywhere...ask around, check the phone book...help yourself by doing a lot of the nasty work. ( sanding, filling in holes, masking off. )Maybe a friend of a friend has a spray booth you can use..reset service engine light 04 camry?
it's not that hard and i would not use spray paint, brush makes a better finish, just go to ur local hardware store, or homedepot and and ask the guy in paint department, i dont think u will need special paint, maybe one that has resitant to weather depending on where u live.or what u do with car. or u can make ur logo for work and put it on the door.The best, cheapest way to paint a vehicle is to use a paint roller and decent rust paint (rustoleum or similar). It's hard to get a good consistent finish with spray paint, and brushes leave brush marks.

The trick is to thoroughly clean the vehicle first, and to use lost of paint thinner in the paint. Thin out the paint until it is just a little bit thicker than plain water. This gives the paint an almost self-leveling ability because it is free to flow around and won't gob up in spots. You will have to do several coats (4 or 5) but the results will be excellent.
Heaven forbid! Don't use house paint or simple metal paint for your vehicle! Go to auto parts store. They can mix paint to match your vehicle. For a door and fender you might need 1-2 quarts of paint. The cheaper version (Dimension brand paint) is about $38 per quart.

You will need a quart of basic primer if the parts weren't primed from factory.
Also you need reducer for paint and paint thinner to clean up spray gun afterwards

The guy at the parts store can tell you mixing directions, but I believe it is a 1/3 part reducer and 2/3 paint (or primer). (Verify at paint store)
Get newspaper and masking tape to cover all surrounding body parts and glass (paint does overspray and look bad). (Prime using mix above and spraying directions below if needed, only wait about 3 hours to let dry before painting- feel with your hand.)

There is a company called Dupli-Color that should make a paint that matches the factory paint on your truck. It comes in a spray can, but it's higher quality then a paint like Krylon, so the finish is a lot better. Any auto parts store should carry Dupli-Color paints. Depending on how old your truck is, and how much the original paint has faded, the Duplicolor paint could be an exact match.

When you go to paint it, do it in a garage (with good ventilation) because some paints are photo chemically reactive, and make sure you sand and primer the parts beforehand.
