How often should i rotate my tires. The guy who sold me the car said i should have it done when i get the oil changed, but somebody eles told me only once a year shoud be fine.

Rotate your tires every other oil change - 6000 miles, give or take
And go read your owners manual. It will give you that information and it is really only helping you in the long run!
