How much of a coolant needs to be in the radiator?

i own a repair shop and i like many other people use the penny test, and usually go by that pretty much,i can average about 30 thousand out of a good set of tires usually,so I'm satisfied with getting that much mileage out of them, then i usually give them to someone who needs a good set to last for a while, but even the cops use the penny test anymore if you get in an accident and there trying to determine who,s at fault they will gage your tires to see if that could have caused you to have an accident, and insurance company's are getting real strict on this also,in some cases the wont pay off if you have an accident, and have bad tires, this is a way for them to get out of paying, good luck i hope this helps.

My 1997 Hyundai Sonata has snapped it's timing belt. The motor is still good but I'm not sure how to ...

actually the penny test works but you have to understand what it means the penny test is a semi accurate mesuaring device and what you are looking for with the penny is how much of the top of lincolns head disappears if part of the tops disa ppears then you are good tread depth wise but that is not the only consideration in replacing tires
you need to look for signs of belts seperating tread seperation or dry rot and cracking if you are unsure take it to a trusted mechanic and let them tell you

A car engine has alot of moving parts . why is it necessary to make sure there is enough pil in the car engin?

If your tires look good after 30 or 50k miles then they are probably good...and Im interested in the brand. Fact is that tires had wear marks built into them so that you can visually decide when they are getting worn down. The DIME test is a good one too but if you feel that the tires are a little too worse for wear before that you can always change them early. Consulting your manufacturer or just drive into a tire place and ask them for a visual inspection works just as well though (sometimes better).

Gearbox oil leaking?

well, i have seen people drive it until wires show but usually, if you measure the tire where or look in the grooves less than 4/32" i would replace. also check for dry rot. it all depends on how much you drive.

Bushes on a car?

Time to change your tires when you brake in an emergency situation and your tires do not let you down.otherwise yes I'd suggest the penny (or dime) scenario if you have money and want to replace them before your life depends upon it. Good luck.

all new tires have wear bars, all you have to do is to see if the wear bars are level with the tread.

What could be wrong with my car?

It would depend on the tread test. There can be a big difference in the actual mileage you get on your tires . Too many variables with the way people drive.

Rotating the tires will greatly increase the life of the tires and they will wear evenly.
