Should be simple. It lifts straight UP when the 4 bolts, hoses, and oil cooler lines are removed.
What does it mean when your car sounds like its changing gears and its an automatic?
Ive never remove a bunch of stuff to get at any raidator so if all are the same then... Drain your raidator un leash the hoses top and bottom if they dont just slide out you will have to take a screw driver and get it between the lip of the hose and the metel fitting it is secured to and try to open it up a bit go around the whole hose that way and it may come off clean if not do it again untill you can break the seal it has made. you may want to change out the hoses any way. same to the top. Look for two metel lines these are your automatic trans lines that fit into your raiador un bolt those stick a golf tee in the ends of them make sure there is no loose wood on the tees that may get into the trans. Then look on the sides of the raiaditor and you will see several bolts on both side unloose thoes and pull striaght up it will be free. Dont touch any thing else. look on the bottom of the old one and you will find 2 rubbler dounuts take those off and install them on the new one these are shock absorbers. BEING CAREFUL replace the core back in dont bump it on stuff. retighten the set up and replace the hoses properly. making sure you get the hoses past any lip tha is on the metel extension fitting. then place your clamp on about 3/4 of a inch from the end of the hose and tighten same on the top fill with 50% coolent. Many are under the assumtion that more coolent is better not so it really works better like it says. Water is the best agent to remove heat coolent just aids in the oiling, and a help to the water but not the main ingredent. so 50/50. You may want to change out the thermastat also. it is where the big top hose winds up above the engine or on the side in that cap is the thermastat. if it hasnt been changed in a long time spray liquid wrench on it and let it sit then rock the bolts back and forth before really unbolting it once you get it off there is the thermastat Good LuckMore Questions & Answers ...
