Texas - Will my car pass inspection on the tail light?
check your cable connections, is your starter bad? if you still have to jump it, you don't have the new battery hooked up right make sure it is grounded properlyi own a shop and if you have replaced the battery and still jump starting it,you have a bad starter on it,that's the only thing other than a bad connection that will cause one not to start, try checking all the wires on it especially where they connect to the starter,if these get loose or corroded,it will make it drag like the battery is low on it,good luck with it hope this helps.

If the battery is discharged in the morning when you try to start your car, you may try disconnecting the ground cable to your battery at night. Reconnect in the morning before you start your car.

Your starter solenoid is weak or the starter itself. What makes a turn signal flash fast?
It would be helpful to know what vehicle it is and weather it is petrol or diesel! the latter will require more current as the compression ratio is almost three times that of a petrol engine and the heater plugs demand a heavy loading as well. this is why a diesel requires a H/Duty battery, I suggest discharge testing both battery's to ascertain their condition, and checking that they are correct for your vehicle, then use a clip on amp meter on the battery lead to confirm the alternator is working. as already suggested the starter motor may be faulty, you may wish to remove it and have an auto electrician test it to eliminate it from your list of possible causes, can it be assumed that until recently the vehicle started without assistance? if it's a diesel it may well refuse to start totally if the heater plugs or control box are U/S. you could override this by using a jumper lead from the battery to the heater plug rail for about 30 seconds and attempting to start after 20 seconds.(it will spark as they draw a heavy load)Can I cause any damage to my Vehicle if i keep driving it with a bad MAP sensor?
