What kind of engines could I fit into my Saturn SL1?

I have a 1996 saturn SL1, i was wondering what kinds of engines i could swap with? Maybe a V-tec? A list of engines would help me out alot! Thanks!

You can put in any engine if you want to spend the time and money fabricating mounting for the engine and transmission you'll be required to put in, among other things. I'm not going to bother with a detailed answer. Visit a forum like saturnfans.com or sixthsphere.com if you want a detailed answer of why you can't just drop in a honduh engine or something ridiculous like that.
