Car is not turning is it the starter?
Again, this is not a fun job. First do you have power windows in the first place? If not , you will have to find a door compatible with your truck, then find a wiring diagram to connect the harness to( your truck doesn't have any connectors) your existing harness. Enough about that.In most GM's the door cover must come off(hidden screws everywhere) and then drill out the rivets that holds the regulator in place (make sure the glass is taped to the outer frame of the door). Disconnect the glass from the regulator and try to remove the whole thing through the holes in the door(don't bend anything). After all is said and done, remove the motor(with a drill) from the regulator and re-install with nuts&bolts. When you get the regulator back in place, again you will replace the drilled out rivits with nuts&bolts (make sure they are not to long to interfeer with anything else) . Test and reasemble the door.
I'm taking my car to a garage tomorrow..there is oil in the antifreeze . How did that happen??
i own a shop and first off you have to remove the door handles and all the other stuff then remove the door panel by getting under the edge of it and pulling out on it them remove the dust shield which will be a piece of plastic probably, then you can see the motor, all you have to do is drill the pop rivets out that hold this in,and remove it as an assembly,it and the regulator at the same time, you will also have to remove the glass from it probably first,so you can get it out, watch how you do this ,because putting it back is opposite of taking it out, good luck with it.More Questions & Answers ...
