What is the difference between 1st design and 2nd design?

Question:
I have a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix... My bumper has a crack in it and i want a new one... but i dont know if my car is the 1st design or the 2nd design.. is the first design the pointy ugly bumpers like the one i have! If so, why wouldnt the 2nd design bumper fit on my car?

i have heard about a cyclone product for my car that gives fuel efficency,etc. where do i go to get one.?

to find out open ur door on the drivers side look at the date code of when it was bulit if bulit in the fist 6 mts of the year its the first style if built in the last 6 mts it should be the second design hope this helps and this is only appox may not stand ture 4 all units good luck
