You should probably take it to the mechanic and have it checked out. You most likely have a hole in your radiator or have a leaky radiator hose. Either way it needs to be fixed.Put some Bar's Stop Leak in it.

For Sure you have a leak, go to auto store and purchase a can of "stop "Leak" This will be for temp/ use till you can get radiator flushed and checked for the leak and repaired. check the radiator for any cracks anywere after you fill it up if you dont see anything, check all the radiator connections and all the hoses and check the hoses also to make sure there is no holes or cuts in it.How much are you paying for regular gas in your area? Where are you located?

Check the hoses, the clamps could be lose or the hoses could have cracks causing leaks under pressure. All you need is a screwdriver to do this could save you some money and time.
Can you see where the car is leaking the water from??It could be various things.First check the radiator to see if its leaking,then check under the water pump.It could be a couple of other things like the hoses but these are the usual problems.There is a product called Bars Leaks that will fix a leaky radiator.This is only a temporary fix and i do not suggest running with this stuff long.It works alittle too well and it will eventually clog your coolant system if left over time.If you are not a avid mechanic,take it to a shop where they can pressure test the whole thing.Most shops will do this for free.here is a pic of the Bars Leaks you'll be lookin for--

Coolig liquid for radiators is a very colorfull green or pink. First fill the cooling fuid deposit. Then start the engine and look for the leak. Sometimes there is someting loose and you can fix it with a screw driver. but it can be the radiator or the water pump, and you have to take it to the mechanic.Dude has anyone ever showed you that your radiator is cracked and you should go a head and replace the radiator. Your car will freeze with no antifreeze if it's cold outside. Take care of your car cuz you can crack the block which is not good.

It sounds like you might have a cracked radiator or a worn intake or head gasket. You should take it to a mechanic and have it inspected if you don't much about cars. What ever you do, do NOT put Stop Leak in your radiator unless it is an emergency. You stand a good chance of clogging up small port holes in your engine which would cause other problems.If you fill the radiator and cannot see any sort of leak, you might need a new water pump. Water pumps are built so that when their bearings wear out they start passing water. Crawl under the car and look at the water pump (it will be at the front of the engine (where all of the belts are))and shine a light on it, you should be able to find the weep hole, if the leak is from there you will find a stream of rust coming from the weep hole to the bottom of the engine.
Water pumps are not usually hard to replace, but you should get a book for your car to get an idea what everything is as you remove it to get to the water pump. Disadvantage of a water pump problem is that it is the part closest to the engine so you have to move everything else first.

Before you start with the stop leak look for the leak get the car heated up first and look at your hoses you may have a pin leak that even a mechanic cant see if you dont have water coming out of your raiador then its problbley not the raidator. That is when you need to pressure test it the mecanic will put a pressure tester on the cap and he will pump it up it will show then. If it is the raiador and its not to large barrs leak is good but the better stuff is the Alumaseal it comes in a small plastic tube it works great i always carry a tube in my tool box..
