Question:
I have a piece on my Denali that broke off in the hole and just the threaded part is left in the hole. The center is open like a pipe but the threads are left and I need them out so I can put the new piece in the hole
Answers:
You can very carefully get a drill bit about the same size as the hole. Drill into the center of the pipe and when it grips put your drill into reverse and it just might unscrew it.

Depending on the pipe size, I have used a hack saw blade and cut the old pipe long ways in two places and then took a chisel or screw driver and knocked it out.Are Twin Throttle Carbs less efficient than SU type Carbs?
denali , thats a car ?what you might use . bolt extractor . it's taperd with edges that grip . harbor fright tools will have the best price .
or a tool store . hardware store ect .. .
i 've used chisles or chanle lock end , or other various things.
Be careful If you use the hacksaw blade method, be careful not to damage the threads. If you use the chisel method, be careful not to damage the threads or break the heater. If you use an easy out, it is fairly safe but can still damage the threads so use just enough pressure to get a grip. If you use ANY method be VERY careful not to let the pieces drop into the heater. Sometimes things are more loose than you might imagine.
