Question:
I spoke with a manager and they took the car to cover the scratches. I got it back and it looks horrible, I complained to their GM, and they are going to airbrush it in a few days. They said that is the last and only thing they will do to resolve the problem. I paid for electrical work, I did not pay for them to scratch my car, if this airbrushing doesn't fix the scratches and they refuse to do anything else about their mess up, what are my options? Its a 2003 sunfire, so its a decent car, I don't think i should have to go through all of this to fix something they did in the first place!

Do you know anything about cars?
i own a repair shop and i agree you shouldn't have to go through anything just to get your car fixed, they should appreciate the business from you ,i tell you what to do on this ,if you get it back and your not satisfied with it go talk to a lawyer about it,and have him give them a call, after they speak with a good lawyer they,ll have a change of heart on this one,you shouldn't have to go through any discomfort from just having your car worked on,another thing, don't sign anything with them or from them, until your totally satisfied with it,good luck ,you will get the resolved,in your favor too just be patient, and keep your cool about it,good luck, hope this helps.Dash Lights coming on in my 2002 Buick Century. dont give up till your car is pristine again! Can any one tell me the best water filter that I should buy?
Was this a dealership? If so call the district or regional manager of that brand of cars and KEEP calling until the problem is satisfactorily resolved. If that doesn't work you can sue them in small claims court. They've tacitly acknowledged they caused the damage by working on it. They can't dispute that claim unless they can show proof the damage was there before they had the car. I can assure you this will be a pain in the rear, but as the saying goes the squeaky wheel gets the oil. If it was my car they'd be painting any body panels affected.More Questions & Answers ...
