what of your tires does not allow total traction to occur?
Brake jobs are pretty straightforward. With some mechanical aptitude, a good service manual and the right tools, he shouldn't have any problem. If he has never wrenched before, I would at the very least have an experienced auto hobbyist or mechanic help him out with it.To start with he will need a good lug wrench and professional quality jack and support stands. Never work under a car suspended only with a jack. I learned that lesson when I was a teenager and it nearly killed me.

On disc brakes he will need a pad spreader and socket set with a bar big enough to loosen the caliper bolts and a torque wrench. On drum brakes (rear usually) he'll need brake pliers with a spring hook, spring compressor for the retention pins, flat screwdriver and a large hammer to loosen frozen drums with.
My 2005 Highlander regular vent blows hot air in the middle of normal vent (AC is off)?
If the vehicle has rear disc brakes, the parking brake can be tricky and some cars require a special piston compression tool to turn and push in the caliper piston at the same time.
how dose the charge cooler system work on the gt4?
Disc brake calipers shouldn't be allowed to simply hang free from their brake hoses. Suspend them with a bungee cord or coat hangar wire. Make sure any ABS wheel speed sensors and wires aren't damaged. And most important, make sure the brake fluid level is correct when done. If done properly, the brakes shouldn't require bleeding, unless the job has been botched pretty badly.
What other maintenance should be done for a vehicle besides an oil change?
A good service manual from Mazda, Haynes or Chilton will explain this pretty clearly.
He will of course need to either turn the drums/rotors (if they aren't too far worn) or replace them. Pads & shoes should always be replaced as a set. It is critical that no grease or oil touch the brake surface and of course the brakes should be properly burnished in after the new pads are installed.
where is the service center for jaguar bathroom fittings ?
The fact that the vehicle is 4WD shouldn't matter when it comes to brakes. They all basically work the same way. If he gets in over his head or if there are any doubts at all, don't hesitate to put it back together and take it to Midas , Meineke or other reputable brake shop. Your lives depend on this being done right. Better to spend an extra $100 for labor than risk hitting someone in an intersection.

How To Create a 24-Valve Vehicle?
It's not hard to do,as long as he has some mechanical abillity, just do one wheel at a time so you can refer to one thats still assembled incase you get confused, expecially on the rear brakes with all the springs and hardware.its not that hard just remember to spray the brakes with brake cleaner before working on them since the particles are very harmful and contain many carcinogens. Also you can buy a car manual at a car shop for about $15 that will walk you through the steps.

Brakes are a peice of cake to change. One thing that you probably dont have the tools for is the resurfacing of the brake rotors. Everytime pads are changed, it is recommended to resurface the rotors. I just had this dont on my daily driver geo prizm, and for the resurfacing of the brake drums and 2 rotors, it cost $25. Now being that your car is 17 years old, the rotors might be passed their life. What that means, is that you can only resurface them so many times, until you past the clearances. If they cant be resurfaced, your going to have to get some at any autostore. I really have no idea what the cost of replacement rotors are, because ive just upgraded to powerstop crossdrilled rotors for all my cars.... and i belive those cost $90 per wheel... but thats a different story.
He is going to need a second person who pumps on the brakes to drain the air from the lines, unless he wants to purchase a vaccuum tool. You can buy the tools at any autohardware store, the one i have is a 'mighty max'. It hooks up the the fluid plug on the bag of the caliper, and you just pump the fluid out until you see no more air bubbles. It has numerous uses, and ive owned mine for 10 years, and i bought it for like $19.99.
Hes also going to need some C clamps to push the piston back
into the caliper, so it will clear the rotors.
