How many gallons does a 96 ford taurus gas tank hold?
there is a roller on the bottom of the lifter to cut down on friction. this frees hp and allows more radical cam timing :)Do some SUV's require to have their oil changed sooner than 3,000 miles?
The lifter on a flat tappet cam is just that-flat, a roller cam has roller lifters which have a steel roller on the end where the cam meets the lifter, it allows you to grind a cam with more lift per durration=more power, and no break in time, they do cost a bit more, but dont really wear very much.regular hydraulic [flat tappet] cams&lifters are simply fine polished flat bottomed lifters riding on a cam shaft on a thin layer of oil................while roller cams & lifters actualy have a roller bearing in between to improve responce while reducing friction!
get you a solid roller cam and you can tighten it up everyday.LMAO!!!
