How do you fix the interior of a car?

timming belt or timing chain... when they break it does nothing but crank...unless your talking about more of a clicking sound, than thats more like a weak battery or a bad starter, but, from the sound of it, the timming chain broke... its bad on those cars i believe, you have to take the water pump out, some other pulleys and the timming cover.. it sucks

Stick shift question?

under the hood there is a "fuel rail" that supplies the injector with gas. On that there is a valve that looks like a fill valve on a tire. Carefully depress the "pin" in the middle and see if fuel shoots out. If not the pump is not supplying gas. Listen under the truck as someone else turns the key on without starting the truck. Do you hear the pump turn on? No.. then it is the pump, or the electrical circuit. Yes, then you need to diagnose the spark/ condition of the engine. You stated you "ran out of gas" Are you sure of this?
It is an irritating problem as I am not looking at it, and and easy one to solve. It seems as though the "dealer" did not look at it , or they are incompetant. I say they did not look at it.

Generator won't start?

I have the same thing going on with my 1994 Dodge Dakota pick up. I replaced everything replaceable and it will only run if I jam a screwdriver down the throttle body to hold the butterfly's open. It turns out the catalytic converter is plugged. Cut it off and it runs like a champ. Now all I have to do is get another one to put in it's place. Before you pull all your hair out of your head, try pulling a plug wire off and putting a plug on the end of the wire and ground it against the engine. Crank the engine over and see it it has a spark. If it doesn't then replace the crank sensor.

1995 Dodge Neon Transmission leak problem?

All that being said, try doing a fuel pressure test on the vehicle. Since the pump for that vehicle is in the tank, running out of gas tends to burn out the pump. It depends on fuel immersion and flow to keep it cool. Run it dry and it gets too hot and burns out. On the Dodges, there is a gas light that looks like a gas pump that comes on when you are down to 1/8 of a tank. I believe that tank is a 22 gallon tank, which would mean 2.75 gallons, or about 45 hi-way miles before it runs dry. When it comes on it means "put gas in me". I refer to mine as the "put gas in me, stupid" light.

Do Tires feel different after tire rotations?

Put gas in the carb??? Your truck should have multi-port Fuel injection. No carb.
Do you have pressure in the fuel rail.? Do you have spark at a spark plug?
Sounds like timing is off.

How much gas did you put in? And is the pump pumping? Pumps are cooled by fuel. Its just as cheep to run on the top half of the tank as the bottom.

How to stop truck from squeaking?

i would take the line off the fuel filter that comes from the tank, have a assistant turn the key and see if you have a pretty good stream of gas, also listen for the fuel pump to hum, if no hum its your pump,if it does hum and you have pressure change the filter it may have picked up some trash from the tank when you ran it out ----very surprised the dealership couldn't diognose your problem----if you still problem check to see that the inertia switch may be tripped--also check the injector connections for current individually----may want to check battery voltage also
