Dash light problem in '97 Nissan Altima?

Question:
Dash light goes on and off when the light is turned on. Happens only with the dash; head light, brake light, turn signals all work fine. Looks like some loose wires in the electrical system. Where should I go for a check?

you are planning to keep this car for a while,go to an auto parts
& invest the 10 to $12 for a Haynes repair manual for your model
& yr.
