Is there something I can put in my radiator to seal a leak?

Please don't put any product into your rad other than water and antifreeze. Alot of the stop leak products will wear out your water pump, clog your water passages with gunk or worse block them causing overheating problems. If you think your rad is leaking or you're using up antifreeze and can't find any tell-tale signs of leaking, i would check the oil, if its looks like slurry then its leaking into the engine oil passages. If your exhaust smoke is white and sometimes you can have a slightly sweet smell coming out of your tailpipe, then you have a cracked head or a blown head gasket. But please take it to a reptuable shop to get a pressure test done on it. I see half-as$ed solutions to fix leaks which cost way much more money at the end to fix rather than fixing the problem first!

They sell a stop leak radiator sealer. Your best bet is to check your hoses first. The stop leak will work for a little while but it's not really good to run it though your engine block. Usually a radiator will puncture when the fluid is not kept up to level inside. If your radiator core has a leak, your better off ordering a new one and changing it. It is really easy to change a radiator.

I was just going to say what markie was about to say. I work in a garage and see alot of people do this and it clogs or clumps up and then the car starts over heating. Take it to a Trusted Garage and have it pressure tested. Have the leak repaired and then have it pressure tested again to make sure nothing else in the system is leaking.
