Bad tune-up?

Question:
When I first moved to my current location I was using one auto repair shop until I noticed my car was worse every time they "fixed" it. After a tune-up in July I noticed that my display lights for the time and station information would sometimes make a click noise then I wouldn't be able to see the time or anything... also I have had the brake light stick here and there. My Suzuki was also not idling right always and sometimes felt as if it were going to stall. Well come today I turn the car on the check engine light was on. I took it to Suzuki this time because this other place also messed up my brakes.. and Suzuki told me I needed a tune up because some of the spark plugs were not working right.. I told them I just had one and they looked and said that the wrong spark plugs were put on. This other place says they won't cover it since I had someone else fix it plus they claim on the phone they weren't the wrong ones (I have the ones they used) Do these problems come from bad tune-up

ok first the dealer uses there brand of plugs so anything else is wrong if the plugs that were installed were bosh platinimus they do have a problem in some cars and should be chainged as its hard to warranty a plug you will proballyt be stuck with the bill unless it was just done what kind were the plugs and the most you could expect to get back is $5 to $10 sorry

How do I remove tape residue from my car leather seats?

The problems you have listed have nothing to do with the tune-up, aside from the check engine light, the check engine light may be related, but it doesn't mean that it is. The clock display and the sticking brake lights are unrelated to the tune up.

No, from a bad shop. Do not go there anymore . Seek one that you can trust.

Does anyone out there get lost when there driving a car? or have trouble staying between the lines?

You were wrong in not giving them a chance to correct the problem, but It seems they were inducing problems rather than correcting any of them. From your description only.

Word of mouth is the best advertising a place can hope for, they just lost you bragging about them to your friends and infact earned a negative as you will tell your friends to "Stay away from there".

spark plugs from a dealer and from a auto shop are different from an autoshop the things are aftermarket from a dealer they things are the produts that your car came with off the assembly line there is a big difference in spark pugs from original and artermarket the problem might have been through the sparkplugs they might have not been installed correctly or just was not paying attenion next time dont go to an auto shop that the manager look fishy or is just acting too nice dont go in but dealerships do cost alot of money and are pretty expensive with labor and tax charges
