WHEN I BOUGHT IT NEW IN 04 IT STARTED WITH NO PROBLEMS THEN OVER A COUPLE OF YEARS IT WOULD BE A LITTLE HARDER TO START THEN LAST SPRING TOOK IT OUT OF STORAGE AND WOULD BARELY RUN ONLY WITH THE CHOKE ON AND GAS FULLY PRESSED ON SO CLEANED THE CARBS DIDNT REALLY HELP NOW THE STRANGE PART WHEN THE TANKS HAS GAS IN IT IT WONT START OR RUN IF I DRAIN THE TANK AND JUST FILL THE CARB IT RUNS PRETTY GOOD ALSO WHEN THE TANK HAS GAS IN IT IT SPITS GAS INTO THE CRANKCASE HOSE AND INTO THE CRANKCASE I CHANGED THE PLUG AND HAVE GOOD SPARK I CHECKED THE FLOAT FOR LEAKS AND ITS GOOD IF I TAKE THE CARB OFF AND SPRAY STARTING FLUID IN THE MOTOR IT RUNS GREAT I REALLY COULDNT FIND ANY BAD SEALS IN THE CARB SO IF I DO GET IT STARTED AND GET IT MOVING IT SEEMS TO RUN ALRIGHT AS LONG AS IM MOVING

Gas is not getting from the tank to the carb. Fuel delivery system. Look for an inline fuel filter between the carb and the tank(normally there would be one between the fuel pump and the carb but you may have another. There also may be one inside the fuel pump if it is one of those that come apart. The second thing is that the fuel pump diaphram is split and not doing any pumping up to the carb.The vehicle runs if it get fuel to burn, so your supply is the problem. Also watch out for sharp kinks or flattened spots in the fuel line(or leaks)
