Disconnected rear lights and trailer connector at rear by gas tank and front lights connector at firewall.
Still a short.
What else is on that curict?

should just be the tail lights. you may have a bare spot on the wire, but you can get a manual for that vehicle at an auto supply and check the wiring diagrams to be sure. also, check under the vehicle for a plug connector about half way back. if it comes loose, the lights won't work. you may also have a disconnected wire at the rear under the or inside of the truck area.part next to the battery on a Cadillac that stays on once engine is turned off?
