how long does it take to fix a car that got rear ended?
i own a repair shop, and this is the obd-1 system,on this car and you cant remove the battery cable and erase the trouble code on these ,you can take it by any auto zone and have them scan it and they can erase the light for you free of charge,if it comes back on then then you have something else wrong with it,good luck i hope this help,s.car pro need your assistance problem with the check engine light?
the lite will keep coming back until you replace the cam position sensor.and then you do the same You did on the battery.
I have a constant ticking sound, like my signal blinker is always on. what could this be?
yes all over again.!
RESETTING IT WONT FIX IT!!!
When you disconnected the negative from the battery, that's exactly what you did - you reset it. When you turn your car on, it scans all the sensors to see if there is a problem. In your case, it sees a problem, so the check engine light comes back on. If you go somewhere and pay to get the check engine light reset, the same thing is going to happen. What you need to do instead is get the problem fixed (whatever they said the problem was)
i have problem with 1987 landcruiser?
You shouldn't have to take it back to the dealer. I would fine a reputable repair shop that does diagnostic work and have them reset it.More Questions & Answers ...
