How do I change the inside door handle on the driver's side on a 2000 Toyota Corolla?

Tranny hesitates to shift from 2nd to 3rd and revs high when engine cold, when warm it shifts ok. ideas?

i own a shop and those are pretty simple to do first you need to remove the screws that hold this one on,and you may have to remove the door panel too but i think you can do it without taking the panel off of it,then you pull out on the handle a little and unhook the rod from it,and remove the handle putting it back is reverse of this,im not really sure on it,but you may have to remove the door panel but i think you can do it without taking it off,good luck with it i hope this helps.

i believe it has a small clip looks like a small cotter-pin kinda like older gm products you have to buy a tool ( about 6 bucks at autozone) it simply pushes the clip out of the ridges on the back of the handle--then you can replace the handle
