Changing wiper motors?

Question:
Do I have to take off my wipers in order to get my wiper motor off of a 1991 chevy s-10 pick-up , I know that 3 bolts are on the firewall but I was told a nut is on the shaft as well ?

my temp guage passes the H sumtimes then goes back to normal then back to H?

you can just take the 3 bolt out and worm the wiper linkage out enough to undo the nut on the motor shaft, but you may bend the wiper linkage. if you take off the 2 wiper arms and the metal vent under them you can take off the nut first then remove the 3 bolts and wiper motor. before putting the wiper arms back on, run the new motor and shut off the switch so they park, then turn off the key and install the wiper arms.
