I have the same problem with my Corsa, i've given up going to the garage as they don't know whats wrong either so i am just going to keep trying to get it started each morning and as soon as it dies completely get a new one. Its probably old and used and just everything falling apart so i wouldn't recommend doing any major repairs as it will probably develop a new fault soon after as that exactly what happened to me so i just hope it lasts a bit longer.How does a car act when the thermostat needs replaced?
Sounds like your computer is showing a fault and shutting down the engine. You need to take it to a mechanic that can put it on a computer or code reader and find out what is really wrong.
