How much is it to reprogram a Galaxy key ?

Just bought a 1999 Ford Galaxy but the remote key fob dosnt work, it kights up but nothing happens. Im guessing that it needs reprograming. Does any one know how much this will cost me ? , is it just Ford who can do it or could i even do it myself ?? ( Im in the uk )

You can not do it yourself unless you have the required computer program and can plug into your cars ECU system. If you can do it yourself all security systems would be useless.
Try Remote Key Alarms . 01213080819 if you are in the West Midlands. Alternatively its a garage job.

If the key is boken. Get a replacement cut using the spare key as a template. Cut the old key tab from the old useless key and fix it on the new key.
