Sure, epoxy is fairly easy to work with, but watch the size you work on because once the resin is activated, you only have a limited amount of time to work with it. Most of the strength of the repair will need to be from the back side, the front will more likely be just finish/smoothing. Don't forget a pair of rubber gloves.

You can find fiberglass and resin in your local yellow pages you will need a grinder, and some know how. anything bigger than the palm of your hand is not for amateurs. If it is that small or smaller than as long as you have a grinder and know how to use it, finding the material and learning how to use it is pretty easy. Look in the marine section of the yellow pages. Also anyone who sells fiberglass coatings is likely to give you tips and hints at no cost. Fiberglass resin is expensive.
