I have a '96 Kia Sportage and am unable to use my washer fluid as it is frozen in the container, water may have gotten in there but I didnt put in any. I take excellent care of my vehicle it is stored in garage, not heated, but it is cold in there. It's a pain not having use of this especially this winter. I think its been frozen for about 2 weeks, I have tried using a hair dryer, a heater, leave it out on nice days in the sun and nothing works, does anyone have any idea how to unthaw or maybe unhook the container so that I can bring it inside the house to thaw it? The lines to the sprayers arent froze, just the container with the fluid. Serious answers only! thanks!

Remove the hose from the container that feeds the nozzles(should be near the bottom of the tank)then keep pouring hot water into the top of the tank until the ice is melted.replace the hose . Do not replace with cheap washer fluid.Use Rainx deicer(it's peach colored)and is much better.John M..........WHAT ???

one part of ammonia in two parts of alcohol.add it and close it tight.also you may remove the reservoir out of the car and put it in the microwave,(thawn section LOL.)

after unthawn remove all liquid out of the reservoir ,because,is not washer. washer is the one in the lines to the sprayers and do not get froze so easily due to the alcohol.
Does steam cleaning your engine cause loose wires?
