Fuel problem with 1997 Ford F-150?
Do you know how they are going to do that?? I have heard all they do is put a stronger solution of injector cleaner in the fuel and run it through. If this is the case, all you would have to do is buy some at the store and run it in the tank when it is low on fuel, just stay in town so you can get to a gas station.Is he just fooling me about the clutch to make money?
they dump a solution right into your car.. NOT in the gas tank.thats the stuff you buy at the store, which you should be using every 3-5 tanks.
Can we mix same engine oil grades but from different brands, ie(castrol and pennzoil10W-30)?
have them do it, and 8-10 tanks later, start with the injector cleaner yourself. you probably wont have to have it done again.

at my shop we dont recommend you putting anything in the gas tank but gas....those additives are harmful to sensors. they have a tendency to wear out O2 sensors faster.....i would have removed them...and taken to your local napa store....they should be able to ultrasonic clean them...not using any chemicals at all....

I work in a garage and we charge about $80 for it, it will depend on where you're locted for prices. I highly recomend having it done by them. Mechanics use a lot stronger and better quality chemical that can be bought in stores. In our fuel service. we do an in (fuel) tank additive that cleans the fuel lines and injectors, It makes the car run a little worse for about a half tank, but it is breaking down all the gum and varnish in the lines and is burning them off. There is a vacuum line service (also in the fuel service package) that is hooked up to a main vacuum line and a chemical is dripped into the line and it is highly currosive and eats away at the varnish that is collected in the lines over time, but it is safe for rubbers, plastics, and metals, in small doses. and then there is the throttle body service that cleans the throttle body and plate, and cleans out the inside of the air intake. The car has a tendency to run rougher untill all the carbon and gum is either burned off or exhausted. I have done this to all the vehicles I have owned, and depending on how bad the car has been runing, it can make an old car seem brand new. I had a 1987 Plymouth Caravelle. It was so bad that that after I did it, i gained about 50km/tank more fuel efficency, and my acceleration drastically increased. The chemicals we use are safe on sensors in small doses, and will not damage rubber or plastics if they are in small doses, or if they are deluted (in gasoline for expample).Tapping and clearance Hole Information Chart?
go to autozone and get a bottle of lucas fuel injector cleaner put it in the gas tank and fill the tank and just drive the car your normal drives and it will clean them, about $10.00 a bottle.How do I get a stripped lugbolt off?
At my dealership we disable the fuel pump and shut off the line to the tank and run injection cleaner with compressed air thru the injectors only and add a approved cleaner to the fuel tank. For 99.95 I have fixed many misfire problems with this procedure.More Questions & Answers ...
