I need to replace the brake light switch on my Honda......?

Question:
Is that something I can do myself or do I need to take it into a shop? If so, how much should I expect to pay? Thank you!!

Answers:

Something burning?

Are your brake lights stuck on? If so,you don't need the switch, you need the little plastic button that presses on the switch.Look on the floor below the brake pedal and see if there are little broken pieces of blue or white plastic. You can buy that little button at any Honda or Acura dealer and install it yourself.I think the part is about $1.50.I've never seen a Honda brake light switch fail.
