Question:
I googled fuel injectors, and saw them for around $120 -- the shop quoted me $294 -- and I'm not sure if this includes labor or not. I'd appreciate any thoughts!
Answers:
why should i use 20/50 oil in a car with 200,000 miles?-- someone told me i should?
If you wish to replace the injector a few times, order it from Autozone. My advice would be to get a new injector from the dealer. You will pay more for it BUT it will be OEM style. Some aftermarket injectors have a different spray pattern and electrical resistance. This could affect how the vehicle runs and could set a check engine light.Car won't start. Is it the starter?
I think the last one I did was $120 from the dealer and cost 1 hour labor. Most likely the cost you were quoted was for the part and labor with the shop's mark-up. The mark-up is how the business stays open and makes money.
www.autozone.com You can order them for 68 bucks online a peice and all you have to do to change it is take plug off and pull it out it will pop out only thing that holds them in there is o-ring
