Question:
I have a vauxhall astra mk3, it has central locking but the battery has run out so the key fob wont work to unlock them, the car has no door locks apart from the boot, but unfortunately the lock on the boot is stuck in and will not open.Any other ways i can get into it?please do not suggest the boot as that is a definate no go.

In the words of an american, You are screwed!You need to open the Bonnet to access the battery for a jump. then the doors will open. You might try a hook on the linkage of the door lock. a locksmith can assist you with that if you can't get it open. There are button on the doors? if not then the ol' coat hook won't work.

If you have AA/RAC/Green Flag cover etc, call out roadside breakdown technician, he will be able to gain access. Alternatively if you have handles for your windows, very genlty create a gap at the top of your door and place a door wedge or similar in the gap. Then using a long ridgid steel rod with a bend or loop on the end, rotate handle to open window. Or jack up car and place a battery jump pack positive on the large nut on your starter motor and the negative on an earth point, this will power up the batteryHow can you tell if your car's water pump is bad?

Get a wedge and slip it between the door and the body. Get it in so you can slide a stick, rod or something long, thin and hard into the open gap to hit the door locks. If the power is off to the car itself, put a hook on the end of the rod and pull on the door handle.
If the glass does not go inside the door edge, pry the glass out on top with a flat head screwdriver wrapped in duct tape. only pull out a little bit. Enough to get the same stick or hooked stick into the car.

get a coat hanger make it into a rod one end make it into a hook
feed the hook between the window and the rubber seal
about 2 inches away from the the lock
push down slowly until you think the hook is below the lock
slowly lift up you should feel when the hook grabs onto the door accsess bar then pull up
might take a few trys though

Are we talking about a flat keyfob battery here or a flat car battery?If its a flat keyfob battery then put a new one in.
If its a flat car battery then raise the front of the car, remove the bottom engine cover if it has one fitted, and connect a live jump lead to the nearest thick live wire you can see from under the car such as the alternator feed or the starter motor feed, as they both go direct to the live of the battery, and connect the negative jump lead to a good earth such as a main bolt or earth strap or the like.

You may now be able to open the doors, that is of course if the other ends of the jump leads are connected to another vehicle battery!!

You need to clarify if its the FOB or the CAR that has the flat battery? I have to say that if you can’t get into the car with a key even though the battery is flat its an incredibly poor design.... If its the CAR that has the flat battery I'd ask a local garage for advice or ring a Vauxhall dealer...what's wrong with my car if it loses power during acceleration?
