you need to get the car rolling first of all either down a hill or get help from someone (do not try to push it yourself someone needs to be in the driver seat for safety) have the vehicle in neutral. with the ignition key in the on position push the clutch in and put the vehicle into either 1st or 2nd gear and let the clutch out. good luck and be safe.The o/d light starting flashing--------97 mazda 626...plz help..have no idea what that means??

Usually you need more than one person. But if your on a hill your in luck. You need to put your car in gear and hold the clutch in. Thats when you need some people to push you until you pick up enough speed and you just let the clutch out.i always use 2nd gear and make sure car is switched on with clutch pushed in, get it rolling let clutch out car should start push clutch back in so it want stall and away you go

best thing to do is get the car facing downhll or get 2 r 3 people ta push the car on flat service! now turn ur key till all ur dash lights r on, for a gas car u must use 2nd gear for a diesel u use 3rd gear! wen ur car is rollin put de car in 2nd gear n leave out ur cluch it should start!! u can do the same in revirse,just make sure ur in the revirse gear and make sure ur ignition lights{dash} are on!!!! good luck!!!!Okay, guys.
