Question:
When I turn the key, the car will crank, the battery is not dead, but the car won't start. We just rode in the car about an hour ago and it was fine. There were no signs of anything. We checked the oil and filled it up. But the car is still cranking but not starting. What could be a possible problem?

Did you over fill the oil?If you did it can get oil on to the spark plugs and it makes your engine hard to fire when it is cold. I would check your spark plugs. If you find them covered in oil. Replace them and change your oil and filter and make sure not to over fill.
my 1994 volvo 440 fuel has pump dont?
there are 2 reasons a car wont start. no fuel and no fire. its getting fire so it must be a fuel problem. i would check fuel pump.check to see if its getting fuel,if not then check the gas filter and run a test on the fuel pump, also check to see if theres spark at the plugs.if no spark,it could be the coil or module went.
starter ??
To start a car it takes two main elements. First spark, check battery, check spark plug wires, check starter, check starter solenoid or switch. Second element must be fuel. Make sure you have gas then, check fuel pump, when you turn key to on position don't crank it, listen out for fuel pump it should sound like like a little humm coming from fuel tank. If it doesn't sound then your fuel pump isn't getting power and a relay or fuse must be replaced.
if fuel pump does sound then check fuel filter. Most are pretty easy to replace depending on model and make but you can usally pick one up at any auto parts store for not too much.
