Question:
I bough my car over 3 months ago now, and I had the car yard put a coat of this protective sealant on the car so the paint doesn't fade. I just want to know if it's safe to take my car to a car wash (as there is new laws recently imposed on water restrictions)?
Will it destroy the protective sealant?

Rear wheel on 1990 trofeo are tilted, how to fix?
I hate to break the news to you, but all you did was pay way too much money for a simple wax job. The 'sealant' they used isn't much better than the Turtle Wax you can pick up for about $4.If the sun doesn't take your sealant away naturally, a car wash might eventually. Ether way, your car finish is going to be fine going through a carwash.
Car paint chip - does the choice of paint matter?
As a matter of fact, take your car to a carwash often and get the sealant option each time.
Don't get fooled by the dealer on your next car purchase. Save your money next time and don't get the 'sealant'. IT'S A RIP OFF!
No. Use a mild car soap.
i would advise you to contact the people who put the seal on to be on the safe side as it might affect your warranty
Lemar is right, nothing more than a wax job. That and fabric sealant are nothing special.
