bring it to car wash and power wash it. make sure you leave car running though. try to stay away from electric components like distributor cap etc. after your done close hood and let car run a bit to help dry everything off. and don't lock your keys in your car at car wash.My gas guage broke, how do I know when I'm low on fuel ?
throw a match under the hood, that should take care of itYou let it evaporate or drown it with water.Baking soda is an option too.
300ZX leaking brake fluid internally, any ideas?
If you want to clean the engine, either have it steam cleaned, or as an alternative, there is a commercial product- I believe the name is "Gunk" that you can buy at automotive supply houses. This is sprayed on the engine, then washed off with water. Either way, expect that you will get moisture in the ignition system, and it may take the car a day or two to dry out before it will run properly. How do you bleed the braking system on a Rover Mini?
the answer is compressed air to blow off the wet fuel, then pressure wash at the car wash.Take it to one of those detailing places and have them clean the engine. Trying to pressure wash it can force water into places where water is not welcome and cause more problems than it cures. Or, just let the gas evaporate on its own.
